My name is Gemma and I am a florist and grower in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Sustainability is at the heart of all of my work. I work with a selection of trusted local growers, as well as garden-gathering a selection of my own blooms, to deliver beautiful, scented and natural flowers to your weddings, events, homes and businesses.
British, seasonal flowers, hand grown and arranged.
I will let you know what is in season each month and I will often offer blooms which you would not usually get to see.
Within my job, my love of flowers gets to sit happily alongside my love of meeting people, talking and collaborating. I teach at floristry workshops as well as popping up at the occasional makers market. If you are thinking about working with me itβs a lovely way to have that initial chat.
You can get in touch with me in the contact section to discuss weddings, installations or projects. I also have a beautiful regular newsletter and an Instagram account if you would like a behind the scenes peek at my work.
Why choose British flowers?
I only work with British flowers due to their more sustainable nature. I am careful about where I order flowers, vessels and packaging from and I only use foam-free mechanics in order to avoid the inevitable micro plastics.
Also, British flowers are just incredibly beautiful. They tend to be more scented and are full of movement and character. I love to use wildflowers and native varieties in my work and my floristry often contains elements of woodland or meadow.
